Briggs Tire Service

Briggs Tire Service was founded in 1975 by Kenneth Lloyd Briggs. It began as a one car garage in the village of Lone Pine, with a used 1963 Ford F100 pickup. His son, Scott, began working with him while still in high school. The two of them continued to build the business, focusing on prompt, quality service.

In 2001, Scott took over the business. Scott has expanded the business to include high performance tires and custom wheels. He also expanded the company’s service capabilities by investing in a Mini-OTR service truck to offer services to larger farm and off road vehicles. Briggs Tire Service continues to be a family operated business when Sean Briggs joined the business in the summer of 2007. He represents the 3rd generation of the Briggs family to continue the tradition of providing quality service to Briggs Tire Service customers.

Briggs Tire Service, LLC continues to expand their product lines and services. In addition to selling and servicing tires for personal vehicles, the company sells tires and accessories for many applications, including the farming, construction and trucking industries. Trained technicians continue to offer reliable service, both at their shop in Lone Pine, and on location. Briggs Tire Service now has five service trucks capable of meeting many tire service needs. They specialize in 24 hour emergency road service.

In 2017, Briggs Tire Service undertook a major building project replacing the old garage with a new state of the art tire shop. With two oversized bays, they can now also service semis, tankers, triaxle trucks, trailers and even campers inside the building. They also have an updated waiting area making it much more comfortable for customers while they are waiting.
